(Albuquerque, NM – March 16, 2020) – The Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico and New Mexico Workforce Connection (NMWC) Centers are closely monitoring all updates, and as an additional precautionary measure to mitigate the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), all five NMWC Centers in the Central Region will suspend in-person services effective tomorrow, March 16th, 2020 and until further notice.
- Although in-person services will not be available, customers can call (505) 843-1900 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to connect to staff with any questions or request for information about programs and services.
- The Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico is also exploring limited by-appointment options for customers as well.

The Mid-Region Council of Governments is the administrative entity and fiscal agent for the New Mexico Workforce Connection in the central region of the state (Bernalillo, Torrance, Sandoval and Valencia Counties).
