The Mid-Region Council of Governments seek a professional to work as part of an interdisciplinary team. This is an 18-month term position.
Duties include but are not limited to providing postsecondary and financial coaching services to clients of Mission: Graduate! ABQ initiative. Maintaining strong working relationships with the New Mexico Workforce Connection management and staff, Mission: Graduate staff, Graduate! ABQ staff, and Graduate! ABQ partners; collaborating with the Graduate! ABQ Coordinator to improve programming at Graduate! ABQ. On a system-wide level; represent Mission: Graduate/Graduate! ABQ at events and community meetings, provide outreach and presentations as needed; and collecting and entering data relevant to coaching services provided. Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents required.Bachelor degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) required. At least two years of experience in advising (post-secondary, high school, career, etc.). Must be able to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends to attend a variety of events. Must have access to a reliable form of transportation to attend offsite meetings, as needed.
