The Mid-Region Council of Governments seeks two professionals to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support the Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico (WCCNM) under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
The Program Manager(s) will provide management, technical and operational support to the WCCNM in coordinating efforts of MRCOG as Administrative Entity, Operations and Fiscal Agent to the WCCNM Board of Directors and the Chief Elected Officers under the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Program Managers will assist in overseeing projects, programs and initiatives prescribed by the WCCNM, work within operations under the supervision and guidance of the WCCNM Operations Manager.
Bachelor degree required plus 2 to 4 years experience in service-related programs, including one year in an administrative capacity. Must be able to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends to attend a variety of events. Must have access to a reliable form of transportation to attend offsite meetings, as needed.
