(Los Lunas, NM – June 4, 2025) – If you’re looking for job and career opportunities in Valencia County, then mark your calendars for the upcoming 2nd Annual Village of Los Lunas Job Fair & Career Expo coming up on Friday, June 13th. Last year’s Fair and Expo was so successful that the Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico decided to host the event for a second time.
“Last year’s event drew over 320-job seekers – with many participants receiving on-the-spot interviews and job offers” said Workforce Administrator Art Martinez. “We had over 55-employers and resource partners on hand to talk with attendees about available positions and provide valuable information and services aimed at connecting the community to essential support systems”.
Available jobs include a variety of positions from entry-level to senior-level, and part-time to full-time. Industries represented include manufacturing, healthcare, government, hospitality, finance, construction, transportation, and more!
“This has grown into one of the largest job fairs in Central New Mexico, serving both the Middle Rio Grande Valley and the greater Albuquerque metro area.” Says Victoria Archuleta, senior economic developer for the Village of Los Lunas, “It offers an opportunity for employers to connect with skilled talent and for job seekers to secure meaningful employment in our region. The Village of Los Lunas is proud to partner in this effort to expand economic and employment opportunities in our community”
Like last year, more than 50-employers have been invited to participate in this year’s Expo – many of them ready to hire on the spot. There will also be nearly a dozen community resource agency representatives on hand to assist job seekers.
